Recycling Used Horse Shoes

Did you know that majority of old horse shoes end up in a landfill? Well, luckily not all of them. I have recently returned from a trip to New Zealand. At my final destination I was welcomed by a beautiful work of art : “Laura” a 20 hand high Clydesdale mare made entirely from recycled horse shoes by a local farmer / artist. What a great idea how to re-purpose used horse shoes.
